If
the Jarrah furniture has faded, how can it be brought back to look
like new?
Wash
the furniture with mild detergent and let completely dry. Sand with
120 grit sandpaper until new color is exposed. Finish with 180 grit
sandpaper and apply Jarrah Colourguard Plus with a smooth cloth.
How
often is the re-coating with Colourguard Plus required?
Frequency
of care relates to weather conditions in your area and display location
of the furniture (under covering, partial cover, by a pool, fully
exposed, or indoors). Fully exposed furniture twice – three
times a year in average climate is sufficient. Once a year if furniture
is under-cover. More frequent re-coating is required in regions
with high sunshine and rain.
Do you recommend a cover for our outdoor furniture?
A breathable cover will certainly reduce the amount of cleaning, sanding and oiling, normally required for timber outdoor furniture. Fame Distributors produce a breathable, UV resistant cover which is specifically designed to fit around your Jensen setting. Please refer to www.famecoverup.com.au
Are
furniture parts available for purchase if not a warranty issue (dog
chewed chair arm, hurricane damaged table leg, etc)?
Yes,

the store and requires identifying part and receiving quote for
part and shipping.

are the fittings made of?
Zinc
Plated Steel. This is used for strength, durability and rust resistance.

length of the table if there will be seating at both ends. Do the
same 52” for table width.Chalking out the area is also useful
to visualize the size.
Can
I use Linseed oil on my furniture?
We
do not recommend Linseed oil as it will eventually turn jarrah black.
Can
I use steel wool on my Jarrah furniture?
Steele wool should never be used. It will result in black blotches.
What
are the benefits of using Jarrah Colourguard?
Colourguard

The Department of Conservation and Land Management [CALM] http://www.naturebase.net/ is responsible for overall management of State Forests.
